Privacy Policy
Effective September 15, 2026
Sently is provided by Atlas Holding Group (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use Sently, and what happens to the information about the people you email.
Two kinds of information
Your account. We are responsible for the information you give us to run your account.
Your subscribers. The contacts you upload belong to you. You decide who is on your lists and what they receive; we store and process that information only to provide Sently to you. If the people on your list have questions about their data, they should contact you, and we will help you respond.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, a hashed version of your password (never the password itself), your business postal address, and your sender settings.
- What you put into the service: lists, subscriber names and email addresses, tags, campaigns, uploaded images, newsletter topics and instructions, and the record of where each imported list came from.
- Email activity: whether a campaign email was delivered, bounced, or reported as spam; whether it was opened (through a small tracking image) and which links were clicked (through a redirect); and unsubscribes, with the time and the browser or mail client that submitted them.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, such as IP addresses and timestamps, for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
We use one cookie, which keeps you signed in. We don’t use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To provide the service: storing your lists, sending your campaigns, and reporting on them.
- To protect the service: measuring bounces and complaints, holding sends that look like abuse, and suspending accounts that break our Acceptable Use Policy.
- To email you about your account, such as verification, password resets and service notices.
We don’t sell personal information, and we never use your subscribers’ information to market anything to them ourselves.
Who we share it with
We use service providers that process data on our behalf, only to run Sently:
- Vercel, which hosts the application.
- Neon, which hosts the database.
- Email delivery providers, currently Resend and Microsoft, which send your campaigns and report deliveries, bounces and complaints back to us.
- Anthropic and OpenAI, when you use AI drafting: the topic and instructions you provide are sent to write the draft.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the service and its users from fraud or abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you close your account or ask us to delete it, we delete it within 30 days, except where we need to keep a record to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. Copies can remain in backups for a limited time before they expire. Unsubscribe and complaint records may be kept so that those people are not emailed again.
Security
Connections are encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and access to production data is limited. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Your choices
You can update your account details in Sently, export or delete your subscribers, and ask us for a copy of your information or to delete it by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or California privacy law; contact us to use them.
Children
Sently is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell account holders by email.
